Incidental Moments

The brief was simply to document the construction and redevelopment of Edinburgh Park, in particular One Newpark Square, the centrepiece of the development. It was my first professional commission after graduating only a few months prior to applying. It has given me an opportunity to produce a body of work that would have been nigh on impossible to achieve without the opportunities and access the residency has given me.  The transient nature of a live building site quickly heightened my situational awareness, too often I would notice a scene, turn my back and the window of opportunity had closed. My aim was to cut through the noise of a building site and focus on the incidental moments.
